Well now, To be Southern Fried

Okay, so I think I"m gonna start by saying that I'm officially Southern Fried every Tuesday now.

Which means I'll be horribly salavating on my keyboard as I dream of fried onion rings and fried chicken when I write my blog every week because I'm on Weight Watchers, and I am avoiding that fried stuff.

But man, oh man, does it look good in the stores!

Anyway, for those of you who don't know me, I'm Candice Gilmer, my first book is out (see below for book cover and blurb) and I'm only 47% Southern, according to a pole I took (Sorry, I don't have the link or I'd post it).

Still, Ginny and Jennifer think I'm Southern enough, so now, once a week, you're going to get to hear the ramblings of a deranged, pink-haired gal's mind.

MMMMMMMMMUUUUUUHHHHHHHHAAAAAAA
HHHHAAAAAAAHAAAAAHHHHHHHAAAAAAA

Suckers.

That was your warning. :)

Hun, Southern is not always about location, it's a frame of mind. And no poll can eva trulee anal-yze how Southurn (drawling the accent out here) a persun is.

LOL

Well, then, I'm probably more Southern than anything. :)

Just don't give me any sweet tea... :)

I don't know. You've never eaten boiled peanuts and hate sweet tea.

What's next?

Jenn and I may have to revoke your Southern Card. :D

I saw your comment on Bernita's blog (about names) and have to recommend www.babycenter.com. You can browse the most popular names by decade and year. And, congrats on your book!

Gah, revolk me?????????? Don't do that!

Cynthia, thanks for the recommendation! I'll put it on my research list.

Thanks, also about the book. :)
