A bouquet of gel pens, a box of dryline liquid paper

The other night I got stuck in Walmart waiting on my car pooling buddies to finish their browsing. My first thought after I got what I had to get was I need some notebooks for my writer's class. I headed over to the office supply isle and smiled. So many different gel pens, highlighters, dry line liquid paper, and much, much more. Once again I realized I am kind of a freak. I just love getting new pens to try out. Or better yet.. a beautiful nice new notebook. Blank pages just waiting for that first stroke of blue gel ink. My muse inside pining away for a moment where it's just me, it and my new writing supplies.

The good news is I know I'm not alone. Writers all over have the same urge to run gleefully into an office supply store for the newest gadgetry. And their muses impatiently wait. Whether it be computer, paper, or bar napkins, the urge to create flows through us with the help of these aids.

Our weapons of choice against the insanity of not being able to create other people, places and things. They say the pen is mightier than the sword, so what's your weapon of choice? Mine? Integra Retractable Blue Gel Medium Point and I always carry a back up or two to class. You never know when you'll need extra ink.

Those who love us learn to love our supply freakiness.... Flowers or gel pens? Gel Pens win everytime.
