Whatever happened to candy and flowers?

Okay, taking the lighter road of what I was originally going to write. Let's talk about men. I want to know what it is about men that drive women crazy. They have no clue what we want, when we want it and where we want it. And that's just taking out the garbage. j/k They want a woman who nurtures them like their momma, turns them on like a hooker and does everything herself.
Welcome to the real world Mister. Most women work out of the home. We are tired to the point that making an effort just doesn't even sound appealing to us. And as for the just like mom part.. that would be under nagging witch, which they hate. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if we felt like they make an effort. Do you know that I used to look for all sorts of things in a man? Now, the thing that turns me on the most is if he picks up after himself without me asking him. Make the bed, cook dinner, heck take the trash out and wash the dishes. These are things that mean more to me than candy and flowers now. Yes ladies, I've been married almost 9 years. And it don't get any prettier. It has taken my grandmother over fifty years to "train" my grandfather.
I'm not trying to scare any single women out there, just want to forewarn you. The man that you adore, you could swear he hung the moon will change and not for the better. Work, money and age will all come in to play to effect your happy marriage. Men typically have short attention spans, ego trips and most importantly the mentality of a child about his toys. There is a saying; He who dies with the most toys wins. Also the older they get the more expensive their toys are.
And I know, ya'll are probably thinking; "she hates men, hates her husband". Nope. I like men very much and I do love my husband. It's just sometimes I can't stand him. That's the part of being the opposite sex. They will never understand us and we will continually be pissed off by them. But sometimes... just sometimes there are moments when I can look at him and catch his eye, an understanding will pass between us. He actually has a clue what I'm thinking during that situation. Those are the rare moments of unity.
